I make every wood product by hand, starting with the idea and ending with the finished piece.
I begin with a design—sometimes a quick sketch, sometimes detailed dimensions—guided by function and proportion. I select lumber that fits the piece.
Throughout the process I rely on both power tools for efficiency and hand tools for control and character. Hand-planing, chiseling, and sanding add subtle irregularities that signal the piece was made by hand.
The result is a handcrafted wood item that carries the marks of careful selection, precise joinery, thoughtful finishing, and hands-on attention at every step of the process.
